- Month-long - Hidden Treasures: The Pursuit of a Hobby: Model Ship Building. On display at Sawyer House are examples of one of Bolton resident's decades-long hobby of model ship building, both scratch and kit built. From the ill fated Titanic to the Jefferson Davis, an 1853 Baltimore clipper, these models demonstrate the patience, skills, and eye for detail of the modeler, the late Deborah Kellett. Open every Tuesday and Thursday in May from 1:00 to 3:30; and special open house hours on Saturday, May 18 from 10:00 to 1:00 and Sunday, May 19 from 1:00 to 5:00. This program is offered in partnership with Freedom’s Way National Heritage Area during the Hidden Treasures Festival of Nature, Culture & History. Learn more at freedomsway.org.
